If a new sandboard or sled sled is found to have a defect in manufacturing we will replace the defective part with a new part of the same. The defective part ( only the defective part ) must be returned to us within 30 days of the delivery of the sandboard or sand sled along with a RMA ( returned merchandise authorization ) from Venomous Sandboards to be inspected for defects.
Shipping cost to return the part in question is the customers responsibility. The replacement part as well as shipping cost back to the customer is our responsibility.
Keep in mind that most cracked or broken boards or sleds are simply because the rider was inexperienced or shifted weight to the front front though sandboards are always ridden with the weight on the back foot so a break on the front foot binding will not be considered a defect but misplaces rider weight. The heavier the rider the greater the chance of a break.
Also, keep in mind that sandboards are meant to be ridden barefooted or with socks only, no shoes. Shoes can and will tear the neoprene and wear it out faster.
It is possible to break a sandboard or sand sled on the very first run just like any board sport, surf, snow or skate. It does happen, not often but it certainly can happen.
