Venomous Youth Sand Sled
Venomous youth Sand Sled is a birch/maple hardwood ply sled with a polymer hardened base.
Sand Sleds come complete with 1″ closed cell foam seat cushions, industrial grade grip tape for foot placement and 2 solid rubber grip covered nylon mesh side handles. The youth Sand Sled is super light weight, fast and a lot of fun for a range of smaller riders.
The optimum size of the youth Sand Sled allows for most youth riders, a small adult or even 2 children ( depending on their size ) yet works well for passengers up to about 150 lbs. or so.
Your Sand Sled will come to you complete with Dr.Dune’s Speed Wax and is ready to ride!
Made for comfort and control
All of our Sand Sleds come complete with comfy with a 1″ thick human weight crush proof closed cell foam seat. Industrial grade grip tape foot placement helps hold the riders feet in place. Two innovative rubber grip side handles add solid support and maneuvering. Our Sand Sleds are light weight, fast and a lot of fun for those who prefer a sit down ride! The side cut design allow for better maneuvering and the wide nose funnels more air under the sled. More air adds better FASTER glide over the sand.
What else?
A clear poly coated natural wood finish is the standard but racing stripes can certainly be added. Additional customizing with blue grip tape and handles really adds to a custom look! Venomous produces two sizes of Sand Sleds for adults and youths. The riders weight isn’t a major factor but the length of the adult sand sled is more appropriate for riders 5′ and taller. Sand Sleds ( as well as sandboards ) generally do have a break in period because the sand polishes out the new base smoother and smoother. The more you ride the better it glides! Start with a 25 degree angle and just keep sliding. You will notice the improvement in glide usually with each ride so keep riding!
The Venomous Adult Sand Sled is shipped complete along with Dr.Dune’s famous sandboard wax and is ready to thrill!
