Classed as a “full size” sandboard similar to a snow board it features a poplar wood core, fiber composite with sand tuned steel edges and, of course, patented Race Base that tend to get faster and faster with age. That’s right, the sand ( good sand, that is ) will continue to polish the base of a sandboard smoother and smoother increasing its glide ability and speed. Dirty sand will do just the opposite so consider where you are going to be riding before taking a competition sandboard out for a few runs.
The Venomous FreeRider is just a sandboard deck alone and does not come with bindings however, most snow board bindings will work well with this board as well as our ‘infinity bindings‘
This is a sandboard for riding big dunes and riding them fast and furious! Shipping to some parts of the world is limited as the ‘FreeRider’ is considered an oversize item. All our sandboards and sand sleds come with free Dr.Dune’s sandboard wax.
